About Blackbirds
Recognised by his jet-black plumage and yellow beak, the male blackbird seems more striking than his counterpart. The female blackbird, which has a brownish tint with a speckled abdomen, is more subdued than the male. According to folklore, the sight of a blackbird during winter means a change in weather is coming.
