Description
This practical and pretty piece of furniture was part of E. Gomme/G-Plan’s 1950s Brandon range, and featured in their first catalogue. Their description of it read: “Cocktail Table, with glass top and double-sided drawer is a useful and attractive addition to any lounge”. We think they were right!
The table is finished in oak veneer with solid oak legs, glass supports and trim. The whole piece has been sympathetically refurbished to to bring it back to its original appearance. It has been treated with Danish oil and wax varnish to be ready for everyday use. It is in extremely good condition, with a couple of slight marks and nicks, but these are in keeping with its age and do not detract from its overall appearance. One drawer handle has a small repair, as does the corner of the drawer, and the table is priced accordingly
