Description
An opportunity to try a range of print techniques and create your own Alexandra Palace teatowel as well as a tote bag of your own design.
Resident printmaker Natasha Barton will talk you through various printing methods, their uses and principles.
All materials for this workshop are provided, and a screenprint station will be set up for you to try.
Wear appropriate clothing as we will be using fabric inks and they will stain, despite being water-based and safe.
As well as screeprinting, you will have the chance to using block printing, foam cut printing, stamping and mark-making to create your own design and transfer it to a tote bag.
We will dry the press the teatowel and tote bag so that they are colourfast for washing and contact you when they are ready for collection, usually within a couple of days of the class.
