Bearing the lofty title of Britain’s favourite bird the Robin might be prone to resting on its laurels, but not so. We love the hard-working nature of this little red-breasted bird that sings nearly all year round. It’s fiercely territorial and when it’s not singing, it puts a lot of time into determining the gender of other robins, as males & females are identical. Tricky.
